TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But factor into your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
